The IMAGINE Conference is for people dedicated to improving the lives of others.

"Reclaiming Our Passion" is an opportunity to restore our sense of enthusiasm and purpose in our work. We are striving to empower leadership within our community and we invite you to reclaim your passion as we move forward to create dynamic lives and responsive communities.

The day will consist of three training events with two exemplary speakers from both within the field and outside the community-living movement. This will be followed by a special closing celebration led by self-advocates and families.

We are very pleased to present Michael Kendrick, a well-recognized leader and international consultant within human services. Michael will be speaking on:

"What One Person Can Do In Human Service, Advocacy and Social Change".

We know Michael to be a very insightful speaker, bringing a unique and relevant perspective through his lengthy involvement in human services internationally. Michael possesses a rare capacity to touch the heart of what is most important. He will lead us in exploring more deeply the contribution that we can make despite many complex challenges.

We are also offering a special evening presentation with Michael Kendrick on:

"Emerging Leadership Challenges Facing the Field".

The evening presentation is open to conference participants and as a separate event. Our intention is to enable Executive Directors, Board members, agency staff and family members who are unable to attend during the day, to join us for the evening.

We are also very pleased to present Gregg Levoy, a well-recognized seminar leader in the areas of business, education and human potential. Gregg is the author of the book "Callings; Finding and Following An Authentic Life".

Gregg will be speaking on:

"Called To Serve: The Power Of Passionate Work".

Gregg's hands-on and lecture workshop will explore what it is that fuels our passion, our sense of purpose, and gives us a deep feeling of aliveness and contribution. How might we keep the fires burning in the midst of the many demands we face on a daily basis? Gregg will support us to gain clarity and courage in taking whatever next step might be in alignment with our own personal role and call to serve.

The day would not be complete without good food, entertainment and an opportunity to network. We plan to create an atmosphere of creative inspiration and enjoyment.
